TLC Inns is planning to expand its chain of Grand Central restaurants with new sites in Essex and Hertfordshire.
The firm is currently developing a new £1.3m American-themed restaurant on Ipswich Waterfront.
TLC acquired the former Quayside Restaurant and the adjoining vacant commercial unit in Key Street, and aims to create a 6,000 sq ft, 250-seater Grand Central Bar & Grill diner.
The independent operates outlets in Ely, and Basildon and has also recently acquired another restaurant in Colchester, which has just opened.
