Japanese restaurant chain, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi is to open in Cambridge in March 2016 - its first UK site beyond London - and is eyeing sites in Oxford and Guildford, Surrey.
The company currently operates four London restaurants situated in Wimbledon, Covent Garden, Greenwich and Canary Wharf.
Sticks ‘n’ Sushi also want to expand in London but as rents are so high, they are looking at sites outside the M25.
Launched in the UK in 2012, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi was founded in 1994 by Kim Rahbek Hansen, his brother Jens and Thor Andersen. They operate 16 sites in total and are planning new outlets in Germany.
