Brighton-based Laine Pub Company is to open a state-of-the-art brewery in the Sussex Downs, which will be capable of brewing more than 30,000 pints a week.
The new brewery will create and distribute beer to Laine’s London and Brighton pub portfolio, as well as to off-trade. It will start beer production under the Laine Brewing banner this September.
The company's expanded beer business will be led by Jack Hibberd, previously commercial director at Truman’s Brewery, who will work with the Laine brewing team.
The firm will also take on responsibility for ensuring the quality of beer dispense throughout the pub estate and for the sale of Laine’s beer products outside of the business.
Laine Pub Company currently operates 48 pubs across London and Brighton, plus four microbreweries.
