In time for World Vegan Month this November, Boxpark is welcoming two brand-new vegan food traders; plus London’s finest pizza boys Crust Bros, and the ever expanding Dough Bakehouse, launched by a former winner of The Apprentice.
Vegan Shack was first launched in Manchester back in 2019, and with a straightforward mission to make super tasty plant-based fast food accessible, Vegan Shack aims to make fast-food ‘good enough for meat eaters’ with no compromise on taste.
Labelling themselves as ‘the future of fast food’, Vegan Shack’s menu offers a strong selection of sweet and savoury options, including a range of plant-based burgers like the Fillet Faux Fish and Chick’n Strip Burger, morish tater tots, plus a selection of desserts and irresistibly creamy vegan milkshakes.
Secondly, there's Vegan Wing Shack, the vegan-friendly sister brand of Wing Shack, has ambitious plans of becoming the biggest and best vegan wing restaurant the country has to offer.
Wing Shack was founded in 2017 by three friends, all with a huge passion for top quality food. Specialising in seriously tasty chicken wings, their flavour combinations take inspiration from across the world, creating a variety of famed sauces which fail to disappoint.
After huge success launching restaurants across the capital, the brand took a keen interest into the vegan market and out came Vegan Wing Shack. Their boneless ‘wings’ are completely allergen and gluten free and there are six blow-your-socks-off sauces to choose from, as well as crispy chick’n tenders and a quality selection of sides. Pleasing meat-eaters and vegans alike!
With a mantra of ‘big crusts and big vibes’, Crust Bros journey began on the streets of London, selling pizza in the capital's finest street food markets, pop-ups and music festivals.
After three solid years of street food trading, the CB team opened their first full restaurant in Waterloo, followed by a second site in Wandsworth, and they're now delighted to be bringing their pizza to Boxpark on Monday 7 November.
The award-winning menu boasts a wide range of pizza perfection, including the heavenly Seven Nation Salami topped with creamy burrata, as well as crowd-pleasing vegan and gluten free menus. Did we mention Crust Bros plant a tree for every pizza they sell? That’s over one million pizzas to date. Legends.
Founded in 2019 by British businesswoman and media personality Carina Lepore, former winner of The Apprentice, Dough Bakehouse is an in-house bakery and cafe offering a delicious range of coffees, milkshakes, sandwiches, savoury pastries & porridges.
After winning the show, Lepore entered into a 50:50 partnership with Alan Sugar investing £250k into the family-run bakery. Boxpark Croydon will now be their third location in South London.
The Dough Bakehouse team will be serving freshly baked bread daily, alongside fan-favourite apple strudels, gooey brownies, cinnamon buns and a whole heap of beverages from signature hot chocolates to fruit smoothies.
