New Director of Business Development for Pride of Britain Hotels


Pride of Britain Hotels, the consortium of 46 privately-owned independent hotels and spas, has announced the appointment of Katie Burns as its new Director of Business Development.

In her new role Katie will be ensuring an active presence of the Pride of Britain Hotels portfolio within the trade market to promote each of the hotel members within the Leisure, MICE and Corporate sectors.

She will also be responsible for running an active schedule of recurring events and trainings for each of the Pride of Britain Hotel members. Burns will be working closely alongside CEO Kalindi Juneja to grow the awareness of Pride of Britain Hotels’ collection as well as develop the brand.

Katie brings with her a wealth of knowledge and over 20 years of experience within the hospitality industry. Having held a number of prestigious roles both agency side as well as in luxury hotels, Burns has a strong understanding of British hospitality and is passionate about hotels.

Previous roles include Events Manager at The Lakes by Yoo, as well as Regional Sales and Central Events Director for Iconic Luxury Hotels where she gained extensive experience of the UK luxury hotel sector with a specialist focus on leisure sales and events.

Katie's experience in business development includes over 16 years of working with a variety of leading British Hotels such as Chewton Glen, Cliveden House, The Lygon Arms, Mayfair Townhouse and 11 Cadogan Gardens.
