TGI Fridays has today announced its highly anticipated and brand-new restaurant in Lincoln will open its doors on Wednesday 19 May.
In line with government guidelines, the restaurant, which is located on the High Street, will open for indoor and outdoor dining with COVID-19 safety measures in place to safeguard both its guests and its team. Fans are encouraged to prebook on the Fridays website now in order to guarantee their table and enjoy the new restaurant.
Fridays first opened in New York in 1965 with flowing cocktails and charismatic bartenders making every night feel like a Friday. Over 55 years later, it’s making Fridays famous again and proudly celebrating its unique heritage by displaying those iconic red and white stripes which were inspired by the Barnum and Bailey Circus, the greatest show on earth.
The interior design of the new Fridays in Lincoln sees a perfect blend of famous nostalgia and modern, contemporary design. Each with its own unique story, the rowing scull, giant propellor, peacock and tiffany lamps all feature in a space that’s designed to create atmosphere and emotion.
Fridays Lincoln will be added to an exclusive list of Famous at Fridays restaurants, joining 13 other venues across the UK with the rollout to remaining restaurants due to be completed within the next year. The company is proud that the opening has also brought 35-40 full and part time jobs to the Lincoln area.
