Independent Surrey-based brewery, Big Smoke Brew Co and Airport Retail Enterprises (ARE) have teamed up once again to launch an independent craft beer and food destination to travellers departing from London Luton Airport (LLA).
Following on from the success of their first venture at Heathrow’s Terminal 2, the doors to a second Big Smoke Taphouse & Kitchen will be opening in June 2022.
Big Smoke’s design aesthetic and ethos of comfortable spaces and warm service will be present at the Taphouse & Kitchen, alongside the brand’s range of locally produced beers, cider and gins.
The bar will be well stocked with Big Smoke’s core range of beers, including 8 keg options, one cask ale, 6 cans in the fridge and 3 house gins, alongside a large selection of premium beers, wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks.
The curated food menu has been designed with the airport traveller in mind, with a wide range of seasonal options designed for all-day-dining. From comforting pub classics to sharing dishes and all-day breakfasts – food highlights include DIY tacos, grilled meat sharers and home-made burgers.
For something more bespoke, guests can tailor a dish to their individual tastes by choosing from a selection of grills, side dishes and sauces.
Brunch is a focus with a fresh daily breakfast menu that includes pancakes with maple syrup, Eggs Benedict, sweetcorn fritters and the ‘Big Smoke Signature Breakfast’, featuring house-smoked beef brisket.
Big Smoke Taphouse & Kitchen will also have in-built technology featuring an orderat-table/pay-at-table system, providing customers with the convenience and safety of ordering and paying for their meals and drinks from their own phones.
