Urban Greens to open fifth site

The Urban Greens team has announced the launch of their fifth location this July. This marks the first of several upcoming openings aimed at meeting the rising demand for convenient, chef-driven cuisine in the city center. The new location will also celebrate the brand's five-year anniversary and feature a refreshed design.

Founded in 2019 by long-time friends Rushil Ramjee, Houman Ashrafzadeh, and Yannis Drivas, the new location will offer Urban Greens' signature salads and the popular warm salad menu introduced earlier this year at the High Street Kensington flagship, created by Mob Kitchen alumnus Finn Tonry.

Demonstrating that fast food can still be high quality, the ingredients for each dish will continue to be carefully massaged and marinated before each lunch service, ensuring they are prepared for fresh, swift, and customised assembly.

The menu's best-selling items include Tonry’s Thai Crunch, which features sesame-marinated glass noodles, kale, beansprouts, pickled chili and carrots, sugar snap peas, edamame, coriander, mint, toasted peanuts, and an option of chicken or tempeh. Another favorite is Middle Feast, a warm salad composed of harissa chickpeas, black rice, marinated kale, red pepper, blanched broccoli, tomatoes, pickled cabbage, fresh mint and parsley, toasted buckwheat, and a green tahini dressing.

Rushil Ramjee said, “Our desire is to provide Londoners with a fast, healthy, delicious lunchtime offering, and our new location on Copthall Avenue has been built for maximum customer convenience, keeping efficiency and speed in mind to ensure as little queue time as possible, as well as offering collection and delivery via Deliveroo.”

Houman Ashrafzadeh said, “We’re so excited about this new chapter for Urban Greens. Going from being three friends who were simply seeking a speedy, health-conscious lunch, to having five sites before our 5th birthday is testament to the amount of Londoners who share our desire to enjoy delicious, guilt-free food.

Yannis Drivas added, “We have several more locations in the works and can’t wait for our loyal customer base to enjoy them.”
