Aryzta acquires La Rousse Foods


The Swiss-based frozen bakery giant, Aryzta has acquired Irish foodservice company, La Rousse Foods for between €20m and €30m.

Located in Dublin and Belfast, La Rousse has more than 1,300 corporate customers in Ireland, and provides premium products throughout the country.

La Rousse Foods co-founder Marc Amand will stay on as ambassador, with managing director Stuart Campbell heading up daily operations.

Aryzta, which operates over 60 bakeries and kitchens across the globe, said it planned to invest further to push its business to the top of the premium produce market.
