Somerset House announces new suppliers list

Somerset House has revealed its new suppliers list, which includes those who are new to the arts and cultural venue, and others who have retained their position.

As well as caterers, production and entertainment companies and florists, the list also contains two new categories: exhibition builders and structure providers.

The new accredited suppliers were chosen following an extensive tender process to ensure they adhere to the venue’s high level of expertise, quality of production and health and safety guidelines.

New caterers include Alexander & Bjork, Moving Venue, Rocket Food and Urban Caprice. In addition to onsite caterer Tom’s Events, other existing caterers who have retained their position include Ampersand, Bubble Food, By Word of Mouth, Clement Worrell, Rhubarb, Table Talk and Zafferano.

Blitz, Broadsword, Event TSL, Light Motif and S2 have been added as production suppliers where Event Concept, Fisher, Sound by Design and White Light remain. Eight Ray Music and Euphonica join Sternberg Clarke on the entertainment list, whilst florists Hayford and Rhodes and The Floral Appreciation Society add to Lavender Green, Pinstripes and Peonies and The Urban Flower Firm.

Aubury’s, Central Display and The White Wall Company will be on hand to install commercial exhibitions, with Ascot, De Boer, Losberger and Ten by Fifteen providing structures in the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court.

Jenny Freestone, Head of Corporate Events at Somerset House, commented, “Our suppliers are integral in making each event a memorable and successful occasion, which is why we are committed to sourcing the very best in the industry through a stringent approval process. Somerset House is a flexible venue, hosting a variety of events - our suppliers reflect this versatility and have the ability to accommodate any event.”
