Wadworth, the Devizes-based pub operator and family brewer, has announced the appointment of John Beard as Non-Executive Director as it continues to strengthen of its board of directors.
Beard joins the board with immediate effect and brings with him a wealth of senior leadership experience across a number of consumer businesses.
Currently co-owner of The Whisky Shop and Loch Fyne Whiskies, John is also an active investor in Pontoon - a business which provides fresh pre-mixed cocktails to bars and casual dining restaurants - as well as two waiting-room digital platforms, Intentor and Vision Media. John’s previous roles include CEO of Whyte and Mackay Ltd and Bacardi Brown Forman Brands, UK.
