Claw to open next month in Soho

After years of serving up the very best of British seafood street-side, the team from Claw is opening of its first bricks and mortar site on 14 December in Soho, London.

Set over two floors, the 50-cover restaurant will be open from morning through to late, offering sit-in or take-away dining, and has been designed to perfectly chime with the thriving gastronomic scene developing on Kingly Street.

True to form, Claw Carnaby will serve a creative and fun-loving menu of home-grown produce from the sea, but will go one step further to explore the wider area, using native ingredients found on the surrounding land too. The result is a menu packed with hearty dishes, which showcase a range of seafood, meat, and vegetarian options such as:

Crab Beignets with crab mayonnaise
Pork Stuffed Squid with Kaffir Lime
Fried Chicken & Caviar
Squid Bolognese ‘Sloppy Joe’
Onglet, smoked sweet potato & gremolata (to share)
Roast Cauliflower with Spelt & Tofu Yoghurt
Toasted milk parfait, sour toffee & gingersnap

The team has also planned to include some of their much-loved, cult dishes throughout their Street Food menu to take-away that include their signatures – the Claw Crab Roll, Bacon & Scallop Muffin, and Claw’s signature Lobster Roll - ensuring fans can get their seafood fix throughout the week.

In the evenings the restaurant will be transformed into a bustling eatery complete with their very own private dining space for those looking for somewhere more intimate to celebrate. The interiors at Claw Carnaby have been crafted by design specialists Run For The Hills, also responsible for Soho restaurants Kricket and Island Poké.

The all-new drinks list at Claw Carnaby will closely follow the direction set out in the kitchen. Their range of refreshing coastal-influenced tipples includes bespoke cocktails as well as refreshing whites and robust reds all served on tap, as well as a regularly changing selection of London and UK craft beers.
