£595k Aberdeenshire hotel comes to market

Fife Lodge Hotel in Banff, Aberdeenshire has come to market through Christie & Co with a price tag of £595k.

Nestled on the River Deveron, which flows into the Moray Firth, this high quality small hotel is situated off the A97, one of the principal routes into Banff from the south.

Set in large landscaped grounds, the traditional stone building boasts eight bedrooms, The Montcoffer Dining Room, an adjoining garden room and the Balvenie Lounge bar. The Princess Louise Ballroom, which has the capacity for up to 300 guests, is ideal for hosting weddings and receptions.

Fife Lodge Hotel has been independently owned and operated by current owner, Linda Thomas for over six years. Having built an excellent reputation for the hotel, Thomas is now looking to retire.

Stuart Drysdale, Associate Director at Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, commented, “Fife Lodge Hotel presents a fantastic opportunity for an owner operator to build on an already successful business. The business would ideally suit a husband and wife team or couple and benefit from a hands on approach.

'A detached three bedroom owner’s accommodation sits to the rear of the hotel, and although this is not included within the sale, this could be made available under separate negotiation.”
