TeamSport to open new indoor go-karting centre in Hull

TeamSport has won approval to open a new indoor go-karting centre in Hull, the firm's third in the East Yorkshire city.

The group said in its application it hopes the new Hull centre will attract around 2,300 visitors a month, with the track able to hold 12 racers at once in 30-minute sessions.

TeamSport, which operates 28 go-karting centres, five of which are in London, said, “It is proposed that the track will be open between 9am and 11pm for seven days a week.

“When fully operational, the centre will create up to 40 jobs. The majority of full-time roles are at management level, whilst the part-time roles are generally marshals, mechanics and receptionists.'

The company is currently set to open new centres in Bradford, Stockton and Stoke.

For food and beverages at the centres, there's Fuel, which serves up freshly stone-baked pizzas and baguettes, cold drinks, hot beverages and alcohol.
