Dormy House hotel to launch luxury spa

One of the Cotswold’s leading hotels, Dormy House Hotel, is set to launch a luxury spa in 2014 as part of its £10m refurbishment programme.

The four-star, 43-bedroom hotel near Broadway, will unveil its exclusive House Spa early next year in a move that will see the family-run hotel become a leading spa venue. The House Spa will be designed by internationally-renowned Sparcstudio and include an infinity pool, treatment rooms, fitness gym, dining area and terrace garden. It will be available both to hotel guests and as a luxury day spa and health club for nearby residents.

The hotel is due to close in mid-March for the first phase of improvements, which will involve the £5m refurbishment and upgrading of its public areas and bedrooms.

Dormy House is part of the Farncombe group, which has been owned by the Philip-Sørensen family since 1977, which includes meeting venue Cotswold Conference Centre and Farncombe Courses, offering residential learning and activity breaks, all on the 320-acre Farncombe Estate.

Dormy House Hotel is a member of Pride of Britain and Cotswolds Finest Hotels.
