Joules acquires its fourth pub since Easter

Joules, the Shropshire based brewer and retailer, has bought its fourth site since Easter this year, The Rose and Crown in Church Street, Ludlow, from Punch Taverns.

The pub is the third it has bought from Punch Taverns also since Easter, the other two being The White Lion in Wem and The Kings Arms in Church Stretton.

In a separate deal Joules has also acquired The Dolphin in Shrewsbury.

The recent acquisitions are part of an expansion plan the company announced in January, stating with would purchase nine new pubs within a 40-minute drive of its brewery in Great Hales Street, Markey Drayton. Joules now has 18 Tao Houses across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire.
