Nespresso to open first outlet in Scotland


Nespresso, the pioneer in highest quality premium portioned coffee, will unveil its first store north of the border on Multrees Walk, Edinburgh’s luxury shopping destination, this winter.

Following recent openings in Beijing, London, Moscow, San Francisco and Seoul, Nespresso is extending its unique retail coffee experience to Scotland, opening a new luxurious boutique in the capital in early December.

In response to an increased desire for quality coffee across the UK, the store which spans over 2,500 sq. ft. will take Scottish shoppers on an elegant journey, discovering the entire Nespresso product range while enhancing their own coffee expertise.

In any month Edinburgh City centre footfall can be between 2.5 million to 3.5 million people, and from December these shoppers will be able to immerse themselves in the unique world of Nespresso in the capital.

With already more than 300 Nespresso boutiques open around the world, we’re thrilled to be bringing the Nespresso coffee experience to more locations in the UK with the opening of the store in Scotland’s capital.”

At the heart of the boutique will be The Tasting Bar. Here customers will have the opportunity to explore and enjoy Nespresso’s full range of 21 Grands Crus coffees; all with distinctly individual characters and aromatic profiles, developed by the brand’s in-house experts to ensure each and every Club Member has a blend to suit their tastes.

The new Edinburgh boutique will also house a Club Room offering both existing and potential new Nespresso Club Members the opportunity to explore the wide range of privileges and services available when you become part of the Nespresso Club.

It will also have a Recycling Zone where Club Members can drop off their used capsules and learn more about Nespresso’s recycling scheme. Also in the boutique is The Nespresso PickUp, where customers are able to place an order through the Customer Relationship Centre and collect it just two hours later from the boutique.
