Sheffield United extends Levy catering deal for another decade

Levy UK + Ireland, the sports, leisure, and hospitality division of contract catering company Compass Group UK and Ireland, will extend its enduring partnership with Sheffield United Football Club.

The caterer and football club have reached a consensus on extending their contract for another 10 years, thus perpetuating a partnership that commenced in 2009.

The latest deal's value remains undisclosed.

The catering firm will continue to be responsible for providing dining experiences to fans and visitors at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane stadium.

This entails overseeing all catering operations, encompassing matchday hospitality, public concessions, corporate events, and non-matchday functions like concerts. A proficient culinary team, under the leadership of head chef Seymour Millington, meticulously prepares hospitality dishes on-site, including bread and pastries.

During the 10-year extension, there will be additional investment in the stadium, notably in the recently launched '1889 Suite.' Named in honor of the year Sheffield United was established, this versatile space serves various purposes, including conferences, meetings, banquets, and matchday hospitality.

Matthew Lewis, chief operating officer of Levy UK + Ireland, said: 'Our Levy team is committed to elevating the culinary experience at Bramall Lane, investing in improvements to further enhance the matchday experience for the loyal supporters and guests of this great club.'

Sheffield United's CEO, Stephen Bettis, said: 'Levy UK + Ireland has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of our club's values and our fans' expectations.

'This successful partnership has contributed significantly to the matchday experience at Bramall Lane. We look forward to seeing our collaboration with Levy evolve even further.'
