The UK B-Corp hotel group Exclusive Collection is excited to announce the addition of Ansty Hall in Warwickshire to its portfolio. The Grade II listed Georgian manor has been revitalised through an extensive renovation, infusing its historic walls with renewed vitality.
Ansty Hall, a 62-key hotel, boasts a rich history interwoven with the town’s Shakespearean heritage and a dedication to innovation. It is a place where medieval legends and influential authors converge.
Situated on eight acres of picturesque Warwickshire countryside, Ansty Hall is now the seventh country-house hotel in Exclusive Collection’s portfolio, further extending the group’s presence into the Midlands.
Exclusive Collection's comprehensive brand repositioning, executed with BrandSensory®, was instrumental in bridging the house and region's rich history with the present. The interiors of Ansty Hall honor the area's heritage and local craftsmanship, reflecting its vibrant weaving and textile history as well as its innovative motoring industry. Elements such as locally crafted art and pottery, cutting-edge in-room technology, regionally woven upholstery, and historic red brick facades are seamlessly integrated into the hotel's design. This thoughtful approach was realised by designers Russell Sage and Trevellion.

Art and literature enthusiasts will be captivated by the hotel’s Henry Library, named in honor of author Henry Cadwallader Adams, a former owner of the property. The library features a curated collection of his novels. Additionally, the hotel’s colour palette and interiors draw inspiration from Coventry’s historic “True Blue” dye and the surrounding red stone countryside, subtly reflecting its unique location.
The restaurant, aptly named Woven, pays homage to Ansty’s historical ribbon weaving industry during Coventry’s cottage weaving boom. It blends local craftsmanship and art with elegant furnishings to create a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere.
The menu at Woven, curated by chef Ryan Swift, highlights classic British dishes infused with local flavors and unique twists. Afternoon Tea is served in the elegantly appointed tearoom and lounge, with the ‘High Chai’ experience offering a local twist on traditional tea. This includes a selection of Chai lattes alongside the expected array of teas, weaving local flavors into every aspect of the afternoon tea experience.
Adjacent to Ansty Hall is a charming church redesigned by Sir Gilbert Scott, the renowned architect behind King’s Cross and St Pancras stations. The picturesque church and its surrounding grounds make the hotel an ideal venue for weddings. Ansty Hall offers a variety of spaces for ceremonies, accommodating up to 160 guests both indoors and outdoors. Highlights include The Orangery, a separate building with floor-to-ceiling windows and direct access to the grounds; the Cedar Room and Henry’s Library, which overlook the gardens; and the Gilbert Scott Room, offering views of the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.
