The US fast food chain Chick-fil-A has revealed the locations of its first permanent UK restaurants, which are set to open in early 2024.
The first phase of the brand’s nationwide expansion plans will see restaurants opening in London, Liverpool, Belfast, and Leeds.
Chick-fil-A intends to invest $100 million (£74 million) in the UK over the next decade, with plans to open five locations within the first two years.
The initial expansion is expected to generate approximately 400 jobs across licensed and franchised restaurants.
Chick-fil-A ranks as the third largest quick-service restaurant chain in the United States, operating over 3,000 locations across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
The chain announced its intention to introduce popular menu items to the UK, including the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, freshly made salads, and hand-breaded nuggets.
Chick-fil-A is currently inviting expressions of interest from individuals who wish to become independent franchise owner-operators in the UK.
Nearly 80% of Chick-fil-A's local owner-operators manage just one restaurant, with an initial investment of around $10,000 (£7,479).

Chick-fil-A's UK restaurants are expected to adhere to the same practice as their U.S. counterparts by remaining closed on Sundays. This tradition began when the company's founder opened his first restaurant in Atlanta in 1946.
