Hand Picked Hotels announces new chef joining Fawsley Hall Hotel

Hand Picked Hotels has announced the appointment of Chef Joe Gould to lead The Cedar Restaurant, the dining establishment located within Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa.

Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa is a part of the Hand Picked Hotels portfolio, which consists of 21 privately owned luxury venues throughout the UK and the Channel Islands. The collection was established in 2001 by Julia Hands MBE, who serves as the owner, chairman, and CEO of the group.

Chef Joe Gould joins Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa after serving as the head chef at Glenapp Castle Hotel in Ayrshire, bringing with him an impressive 17 years of culinary experience gained in high-end restaurants across the country. His culinary journey began as a commis chef at Newick Park Country House Hotel, and he has since held positions at renowned establishments such as the three Rosette Bailiffscourt Hotel & Spa, the Michelin-starred Coworth Park Hotel, and Lainston House Hotel.

In his role as head chef at Fawsley Hall's Cedar Restaurant, Joe Gould will have several responsibilities. These include overseeing the creation of private dining menus, as well as crafting menus for social and corporate events. Additionally, he will play a pivotal role in enhancing the hotel's luxury afternoon tea offering, which is served in the historic Tudor Great Hall—a space with a rich history of hosting distinguished guests, including Queen Elizabeth I.
