Rudy's to hit 10 London restaurant sites by the end of 2024

Pizza restaurant group Rudy’s is set to open its sixth London location this month, aiming to have a total of 10 venues in the capital by year's end.

Rudy’s will open its first west London restaurant in Queensway on 27 April. This new venue will complement its existing London locations in Soho, Shoreditch, Fitzrovia, and Spitalfields. Additionally, the group has a site at the competitive socialising venue Fairgame in Canary Wharf.

Located in a former bank close to Hyde Park, Rudy’s Queensway will be set over two floors with a basement complete with original exposed brickwork arches, showcasing the history and architectural beauty of the area.

Rudy’s was established in Ancoats, Manchester, in 2015 and made its London debut in Soho in 2021.

During last month's R200 event in Manchester, Rudy's managing director, Neal Bates, mentioned that the company plans to open at least four more restaurants in London by the end of the year. He also hinted at the possibility of a standalone restaurant in Canary Wharf.

The brand is also preparing to expand into new locations in Durham, Newcastle, and the nearby suburb of Jesmond. Additionally, the brand has plans to enter the Scottish market in the future.

Rudy's owner, Mission Mars, plans to strengthen its footprint in London this year with the launch of its Albert's Schloss brand on Shaftesbury Avenue, taking over the site of the former Rainforest Café.
