Ampersand has secured a new contract worth £2.5m at Compton Verney, an art gallery in Warwickshire which is set in 120 acres of parkland.
Over the next five years, Ampersand will provide the visitor catering and events services at the venue, helping the existing team enhance the overall visitor experience in a year which marks the gallery’s 10th birthday.
Compton Verney, which is housed within a Grade I-listed Georgian mansion, currently has a 100-cover serviced restaurant offering a la carte dining and a café which offers visitors a more informal option.
Both are open Tuesday to Sunday between mid-February and mid-December. In the summer months there will also be a mobile facility and pop-up units in the grounds selling ice-cream and drinks.
Further to the dining options, Ampersand will also provide catering for events including weddings, private parties and product launches.
