The healthcare business at ISS has affirmed its position as a TFM (Total Facilities Management) business with its latest contract award, with Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust.
The contract, which commences in January 2019 and runs for an initial 5-year period, will see ISS provide estates maintenance, cleaning, catering for service users and staff, waste management, in-patient linen and laundry, postal, portering and security services.
ISS will provide services at the mental health Trust’s two main sites, St. Pancras Hospital and Highgate Mental Health Centre, with a mobile estates team looking after about 30 further community sites across the Trust.
Speaking after the award Chris Ash, Managing Director of ISS Healthcare, said, “We are delighted that Camden and Islington has chosen us to look after its entire estate. This represents a great opportunity for us to showcase exactly what we can do by working in partnership as a true TFM provider with a Trust which has a large and varied portfolio of properties.”
