Crown Care is creating 100 jobs at a new £7m 73-bed care home, The Royal Hampton, due to open in Ponteland, Northumberland this autumn.
The site of a former cattle auction has been transformed into a multi-million pound luxury assisted living scheme, and will provide residential, nursing and dementia care.
There will be two three-bedded bungalows and four three-bedded town houses with associated car parking, service amenities and garden area.
It will include an internet cafe, cinema, spa services, library and a music hall, alongside quiet lounges for residents and those staying for a short time.
