The New World Trading Company, a division of Living Ventures, has acquired Knutsford Wine Bar in Cheshire from Vanessa Hatton, who bought the bar ten years ago.
The group, which has its head office in Knutsford, is set to take charge of the property in early January and reopen with The Botanist on 7 March.
The development of the site is to be managed by Matt Bamber, operations director for the New World Trading Company, who came from Knutsford.
The New World Trading Company already owns two Botanist bars, one on Deansgate in Manchester and the other in Alderley Edge, as well as The Oast House in Spinningfields.
