Having bought the plot from Quintain Estates & Development, Hotel La Tour has started construction on there first property, a £24m, 174-bedroom hotel in the City Park Gate district of Birmingham, which is scheduled to open in February 2012.
The new site will also offer conference space, a restaurant and bar and a street cafe.The scheme is expected to create 100 jobs.
Hotel La Tour was formed in 2007 by three hoteliers. The team plans to build five hotels in the next five years.
