MAD set to open third Hula bar this month

MAD (Mark Andrew Developments) is opening Hula, the late night tiki bar brand, in Heaton Moor, Greater Manchester, this month.

Hula, which will be situated on Shaw Road, will open its doors on 19 October following a refurbishment, with a tiki launch party on 2 November.

The new bar will join Hula venues in the Northern Quarter and West Didsbury, and will offer the brand's tiki cocktails, as well as beers, wines and spirits.

MAD's managing director, Mark Andrew said “ We’re really excited to open our third site in Heaton Moor, and ninth for the group. Hula is such a great brand – it’s fun, cheeky, with lots of personality and will bring another great venue to the area and those looking for a night out on the Moor.”

MAD was established in 2004 by Andrew, starting with the opening of a small bar in West Didsbury in south Manchester, originally called M20 but now tiki bar Hula. Its other bars include Walrus, Tusk, The Fitzgerald, Rosylee and Hula in the Northern Quarter.
