Crazy Bear Group looking to launch new restaurants

The Crazy Bear Group Limited, which includes two hotels and restaurants, is seeking new investment to enhance its offerings and expand its portfolio.

The Group, which operates two hotels in Stadhampton and Beaconsfield, is collaborating with Savills to secure new funding for the business, which has been under new leadership since the beginning of 2024.

The Crazy Bear is renowned for its eclectic design and innovative hotel and dining experiences.

This month (October 2024), the group plans to enter the market in search of suitable long-term capital through financing partners.

Since January 2024, the Crazy Bear Group has been led by Tom Etridge, who has implemented a new management structure aimed at driving operational change, launching new restaurants, fostering stability, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

As per Companies House, the only currently listed director is Richard Booth, who was appointed in May of this year.

In collaboration with Savills, the group plans to ‘evolve and transition towards a contemporary collection of boutique properties in highly desirable locations within easy reach of London’.

The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton was the group's first hotel, opening in 1993 following a complete renovation of the 16th-century pub.

The hotel features 23 bedrooms and private cottages accommodating up to 10 guests, with its reception area located in an old London Routemaster bus.

The Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield opened its doors in 2008.
