Construction has begun in Dundee on a new £31.5m swimming leisure development. Dundee City Council is behind the plans for the new complex, which will replace the existing Olympia Leisure Centre and is set to be completed in September 2012. Facilities will include a 50m competition pool, wave pool, rapid river, dive pool and fitness suite. A multi-storey car park is also proposed.
