Roomzzz Aparthotel is seeking permission to build a £3m four-star hotel with 77 bedrooms next to the firm's existing hotel in Newcastle city centre .
The family-run company also plans to open more sites next year in Harrogate, Liverpool, London, Manchester and York.
Roomzzz Aparthotel currently owns and manages seven properties across five cities.
