Vegetarian restaurant group Mildreds secures fourth site in Dalston

Vegetarian restaurant group Mildreds has secured a fourth site in London’s Dalston.

The new 3,400 sq.ft. restaurant is located at the former Japanese Canteen, secured by leisure property specialists Davis Coffer Lyons.

Davis Coffer Lyons agent, Louie Gazdar said, “Healthy eating and ‘flexitarianism’ is one of the biggest food trends of 2017 and we have seen a rise of vegetarian and healthy concepts expanding in the market.'

'However with 30 years’ of trading under their belt, Mildreds has proven the vanguard of this sub-sector and I’m sure Dalston will be a very welcome addition to their portfolio.”

Jane Muir and Diane Thomas launched the first Mildreds in Soho’s Greek street in 1988 and have since opened a further two sites in Camden and King’s Cross.
