Mildreds launches Careers for Ukraine scheme

London's Mildreds, the pioneering plant-based restaurant, has today announced the launch of its 'Careers for Ukraine' project.

The initiative offers assistance to Ukrainians in securing employment across its six sites in London.

To support Ukrainians arriving in the UK, Mildreds will provide travel to the UK from abroad (up to £250 towards the cost), up to £300 to help settle into the UK (finding accommodation, travel), free on-shift staff meals, flexible working schedules and a “positive, honest and kind environment”.

Mildreds also recently launched its Covent Garden site on St Martin's Lane, the sixth London restaurant since the company burst onto the London scene with their pioneering opening in Soho back in 1988.

The latest venue joins the original Soho branch and those in King's Cross, Dalston, Camden, and Borough Market, offering cassic Mildred dishes include Kiri Hodi or Bokkeumbap, available all day, Kimcheeze toastie for breakfast and weekend brunch, with one of its famous cocktails.
