Restaurant Associates has launched an exciting and innovative apprenticeship program called Collaborate. This program, which is classified as a level 4 industry apprenticeship, brings together 15 talented chefs and 9 front-of-house team members. These individuals will have the unique opportunity to receive personal coaching and guidance from some of the industry's most prominent figures.

Collaborate aims to provide participants with an exceptional learning experience by offering workshops led by renowned experts such as Michel Roux Jr, Ivan Tisdall-Downes, Steven Groves, and other names in the culinary world.

Through workshops designed to enhance their craft and forge lasting professional relationships, apprentices will acquire the skills and foundations necessary for long-term success in the hospitality industry.

Collaborate, the exceptional apprenticeship program introduced by Restaurant Associates, goes above and beyond the standard level 4 apprenticeship by offering participants an extraordinary range of training opportunities. These include specialised sessions on afternoon tea, immersive foraging experiences led by Imogen Davies and the Native team, three personalised coaching sessions with Michel Roux, a WSET level 2 qualification, education on plant-forward menus, visits to Restaurant Associates’ suppliers, and more. Additionally, suppliers will offer sponsorship opportunities throughout the 18-month course.

Sue Thompson, Director of Business Excellence at Restaurant Associates, expresses her excitement about the launch of Collaborate, saying: “Collaborate perfectly embodies our business ethos and employee values. We firmly believe in the future, and this investment in our own talent underscores our unwavering commitment.”
