Handmade Burger Company announces third Birmingham site


Birmingham based restaurant chain, Handmade Burger Company has announced plans to open a third restaurant in Birmingham.

The new restaurant will form part of an expansion plan, following a £400,000 investment from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.

The company plans to open restaurants in Southampton and Glasgow towards the end of the year and Birmingham and Nottingham in 2015.

Handmade Burger Company founder Chris Sargeant said, 'We have enjoyed rapid growth since opening our very first restaurant in 2006 and, through this investment, we look forward to taking our brand into a variety of new locations in the UK.”

He added, 'With our roots in Birmingham, we are excited to be opening our third city outlet next year in Grand Central as part of the redevelopment of New Street Station, which promises to become an important location among our nationwide chain.'

The Handmade Burger Company was established in 2006 and now operates 20 sites.
