Côte CEO steps down after serving less than a year

Emma Dinnis, who joined Côte Brasserie last year, has left the company with immediate effect, after less than a year in charge.

Her departure comes just three months after the casual dining chain was acquired by the Karali Group in October.

Dinnis, who has held senior positions at Sofology, M&Co, and Topshop, led Côte through its ownership transition from private equity firm Partners Group to the family-run Karali Group.

Partners Group acquired Côte out of administration for £55 million at the height of the pandemic in 2020, when the chain operated nearly 100 sites. It now runs around 70 restaurants across the UK.

Led by Salim and Karim Janmohamed, the Karali Group specialises in quick-service restaurants, casual dining, and cafés, with franchise partners including Taco Bell and Marugame Udon.

Côte Brasserie was founded in 2007, opening its first restaurant in Wimbledon, London.
