Novus to host first ever spirit festival

Novus, the leading bar and restaurant operator, has announced plans to host its first ever spirit festival. The festival will be run in partnership with its leading suppliers, including Diageo, Pernod Ricard and WM Grant, from 1 May to 31 July.

The event will kick off across the Balls Brothers estate, with a celebration of the nation’s favourite spirit – gin featuring Tanqueray, Beefeater Pink Gin, Plymouth Gin and Hendrick’s, with customers being invited to sample an innovative serve every month.

Tanqueray will be hosting week-long pop-up bars at six of the Balls Brothers venues, offering serves and infused gins, while Plymouth Gin will be hosting two Botanical Labs across the estate, giving customers a chance to enjoy a masterclass in botanicals. The Hendrick’s experience will take customers on a journey into the world of gin, learning about the history of the spirit and tales of how it has fuelled legendary writers and unforgettable characters.

Meanwhile, Novus Bars will be celebrating with a focus on all things cocktails, championing Gordon’s, Tanqueray, Ketel One, Beefeater Pink Gin and Russian Standard. Monthly cocktails have been created for May and June, with the bestsellers securing a place on the drinks menu from July. Customers can also take advantage of a Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey pop-up bar at Forge and the Ketel One Kitchen offering vodka masterclasses.

Simon Gaske, Customer Experience Director for Novus commented: “In the true spirit of showcasing a great time for our customers, we’re delighted to be launching our very first spirit festival, in partnership with leading drinks suppliers. Our mixologists will be delivering up a fantastic variety of serves, throughout the summer”
