Brunning & Price opens Cheshire pub

Brunning & Price has just opened The Morris Dancer pub and restaurant in Kelsall, Tarporley, in Cheshire.

Ryan Martinez-Baranda is the new Manager of the Morris Dancer having worked for Brunning and Price for a number of years.

The menus have a spine of classic British dishes complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world. For light bites, guests can enjoy Asparagus, pea & feta quiche, with créme fraîche new potato salad, and for mains, Massaman fish curry; king prawns, salmon & mussels with fragrant rice, roasted peanuts & pak choi.

The pub was formerly called the Lord Binning and operated by the New Moon Pub Company, which fell into administration in 2016, before being taken over by Carwood Catering.

The earliest record for this venue was found in 1822, when James Cawley paid a fee of £20 to be granted the license for a pub, which was then named The Globe.
