Union Hanover Securities plans £100m east London hotel scheme


Union Hanover Securities has submitted plans for a £100m hotel scheme at Stratford in east London.

The Penny Brook development will be located in Stratford City’s East Village, site of the former Olympic Park. It will consist of a 25-storey tower housing a 137-bedroom Adagio Aparthotel and a 249-bedroom boutique hotel called the Penny Brook.

The hotel complex will include a ground floor cafe and restaurant plus a top floor restaurant and lounge. It will incorporate over 13,000 sq ft of conference and meeting space.

Adagio Aparthotel will have 95 studio apartments and 42 one bedroom apartments.

Developers are aiming to start work on site before the end of 2015.
