Doncaster set for vast business park creating 1,700 jobs

Peel Investments North, a division of The Peel Group, has had its plans approved for the development of a new pub and business park close to the Robin Hood airport by Doncaster Council. Detailed plans for the business park include office space, industrial land and additional space for education and training on land east of Poplars Farm in Hurst Lane.

Peel representative Dave Trimingham said, “The airport and Peel have invested significantly in this area and this application relates to the next phase in the investment. It will facilitate more employment growth in industries such as logistics, technology, education and training, building on the existing employment base at the airport. The pub and restaurant will serve the business park users as well as nearby residents. Once full we are estimating it could employ up to 1,700 people.”
