Radisson Hotel Group has launched its lifestyle RED brand in Ireland with the opening of a hotel in Galway.
The hotel was developed by the Rhatigan Group and designed by the Dublin-based architectural firm Henry J Lyons.
The hotel boasts 177 guest rooms and suites, all equipped with Chrome Cast technology. It also features the Claddagh Bar & Grill on the ground floor, Lena’s Rooftop Bar & Restaurant with seating for up to 140 guests, and several meeting and event spaces spread across two floors.
Guests can check-in and check-out using kiosks, while wireless charging points are available throughout the hotel.
“Opening the first ever Radisson RED property in Ireland is a monumental occasion, and I could not be prouder that it’s located in Galway, which happens to be my hometown. The property perfectly marries the bold vibrance of the brand’s design with the culture and heritage of the city, and it is an ideal choice for business and leisure guests alike.” said Tom Flanagan Karttunen, the area SVP for northern and western Europe.
Padraic Rhatigan, principle of the Rhatigan Group, said: “We are proud to be bringing this new, high-quality destination hotel to our home city of Galway. Radisson RED is a great fit for our city, and we are looking forward to revealing the standout design and sophisticated offering in Galway.”
