Signature Living to open third Liverpool site

Hotel and serviced apartment operators Signature Living has announced the acquisition of a former club and recording studio on Stanley Street in Liverpool which will now be converted into a £1.5million luxury hotel.

Plans for the multi-million pound project include a full transformation of the building, a restaurant, members only bar and nightclub. It is to open on the 29th March this year.

The 1884 building was originally used as a tea warehouse but later converted for use as a print works. It was also used as a recording studio for the band OMD in the early 1980s.

Signature living was founded in 2008 by Kate Kenwright with just one apartment located in Liverpool city centre. It now has two successful serviced apartments and when this new hotel opens, the company will have more than 300 beds in the city.
