CFO of The Revel Collective steps down

Danielle Davies, the chief financial officer at the Revel Collective, has announced her resignation as she prepares to pursue a new career opportunity.

Davies, who joined the Revel Collective in 2020 from Footasylum and previously Pets at Home, will depart the company this summer.

The Revel Collective chief executive Rob Pitcher, said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Dan for her extensive contributions to the company during her tenure and her valuable support during this period. We wish her well in her future endeavours.”

The business, operating 40 bars and 22 gastropubs, including the Peach Pubs and Revolución de Cuba brands, underwent a significant restructuring last September, rebranding from Revolution Bars Group.

The Revel Collective acknowledged that the restructuring had impacted confidence in its bars. In its recent half-year results, the company reported a decline in adjusted EBITDA to £6.1m, down from £8.9m the previous year, with total sales dropping from £82.3m to £64.2m.
