Six by Nico to launch its first Bristol restaurant

Nico Simeone’s Six by Nico restaurant group is set to launch its first Bristol location in early February.

Famed for its themed six-course tasting menus that rotate every six weeks, the group will open a new location at Quakers Friars.

Simeone launched his first restaurant in 2017, aiming to make tasting menus more accessible to a wider audience. Prices begin at £44 per person, with an optional wine pairing available for an additional £30.

Current menu themes feature “The Chippie,” a creative take on fish and chip shop classics that includes a deep-fried Mars bar, and “Nostalgia,” which pays homage to cherished memories like Blockbuster video and childhood camping adventures.

Simeone said: “We’re excited to be part of the local dining scene and to share our passion for innovative, high-quality food with the people of Bristol.

“When we launched our ‘At Home’ service during the pandemic, we saw a strong connection with the local community, which made this opening feel like a natural next step.”

Six by Nico has expanded to 16 locations across the UK, including Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff, London, Manchester, and Oxford.

In 2022, Simeone announced plans for a “significant expansion” of the business after achieving a £4.4m profit and a £30m turnover in the year ending June 2022.

His broader Six Company portfolio also includes the Somewhere by Nico bars located in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
